Eagle River is the official Snowmobile Capital of the World®, boasting more than 100 miles of trails in southeastern Vilas County, as well as can’t-miss attractions like the World Snowmobile Headquarters and the World Champion Derby Complex, which hosts snowmobile races and other events throughout the year. The Sno-Eagles Snowmobile Club oversees an outstanding trail system that connects to additional trails in Sayner-Star Lake, Conover, Phelps, St. Germain, and Three Lakes.
