Vilas County is home to nearly 500 miles of professionally groomed trails that span a dozen scenic communities and connect to thousands more miles of trails in northern Wisconsin. Vilas County is the birthplace of the snowmobile, and is home to the World Championship Snowmobile Derby and the Snowmobile Hall of Fame.
